HP Site Manager

Hi all,

I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for this post but I'll ask. We still have some systems running HP-UX 9.05 and I was approached by my manager to find out if there is a product called HP Site Manager for 9.05. Has anyone heard of this product and if so where can I go to find out how to acquire it. Thanks!

Re: HP Site Manager

There is Remote Site Manager http://ovweb3.external.hp.com/solcat/products/display.cfm?id=824

The other problem here is that 9.05 is obsolete as of 12/98. 10.20 is on it's way out as well 06/03. http://www.software.hp.com/RELEASES-MEDIA/history/slide2.html

If you can tell us more about what you are looking for we may be able to find the application.

Cheers!

Re: HP Site Manager

Andre,

This doesn't actually answer your question but does give a little further info that you might find usefule:

On another note, I'm assuming you must have a really good reason to run HP-UX 9.05??? 10.20 is going off support next June!!!

Anyway, Best of Luck,
Pete

Re: HP Site Manager

Before I worried about a site manager, I would put focus on getting those systems upgrade to a supported version of the OS.

My apologies for my redundant answer. I went off searching and didn't think to refresh or I would have seen Cheryl's answer and not bothered cluttering things up.

Re: HP Site Manager

Thank you for all the input. It at least gives me a starting point. If there is nothing available to support 9.05 it's no big deal. It was a question asked of me.

I really wish that we could upgrade or move away from 9.05. When I first arrived here, that was one of my first observations. However, we still have a lot of clients that still use 9.05 and we have to support it. Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about that except rely on what's available to me and this forum has been extremely helpful. Again, thanks for all of your assistance.
