HP-Unix System Admini Questions

Hi

I would like to apply for the post of Unix Administrator .Can somebody guide on a few sample interview questions

Q. What should you do before amending an important file?

A. Make a safe copy.

Q. What should you do before installing software, especially kernel patches?

A. Take an ignite backup of the system.

1) diagram of the architecture,
2) type and number of server,
3) high level of task and projects to do this year/next year : migration, security, etc.
4) number /profil of persons in the technical team,
5) software used (for backup, supervision, security, etc)
6) etc, etc.

Speaking as someone who conducted a couple interviews in the last couple weeks.

My questions are equally and maybe even more directed to questions that tell me about the person and their personality. I tend to encourage a conversation and let folks talk. I find out more about a person by just listening.
I tend to only ask a few technical questions (based on their resume). I try to make them 'tuff' enough to determine if they really do know what they stated -or- if they just put down experienced in something, when they really only had limited exposure.

So each technical question is always based on your resume.....the rest, there is no guide book ....
