HP-UX 10.20 device driver for A4924A Gigabit Ethernet Adapter on K580

I have a HP9000 K580 running HP-UX 10.20 and would like to add an A4924A 1000Base-SX HP-HSC Single Port Gigabit Ethernet LAN Adapter. Do you know which driver or any patch should be installed?

you need to install the card first, then e software which is on your application cd set.

you should load J1642AA
It should be available on your application CD's.

I believe you may need a codeword. which you should have gotm when you purchased the card and sw license

Thx for your infomation.
I have just got an application cd (Dec 98) and mounted it. I couldn't find the J1642AA from SAM software installation menu.

However, its when I do
# swlist -d @ /SD_CDROM |grep J1642AA
I can get the following o/p.

J1642AA B.10.20.03 HP HSC_PCI Gigabit Ethernet Driver

I don't why I can't choose it from the SAM's menu.

I do probably feel that youd should have received a codeword and software license certificate for the application.

If you have a software certificate then you can obtain the codeword from
licensing.hp.com
