HP UX 10 and 11 trusted system with SSH

Will SSH work in a trusted environment with no issues at all? I have heard that in a trusted configuration, there are incompatibilities in the way that disabled accounts are handled (and recovered via the number sequence you enter) and so forth. Could someone link me to a good support URL regarding this configuration?

Hi,

Basically 'ssh' must be compiled with the pam option to work with password aging. The information provided by Craig in the following link should do the trick.

Hi,

I've re-read the options in the compile list and it indicates that the default options includes 'pam' for HPUX 10.20
I'm sure it will work as long as the 'pam'
dependant patches are installed,
PHCO_26022, PHCO_25640, PHSS_20607 and their
dependencies.

You will also need 'zlib' which can be found here:

HP has released a supported version of openssh that has been tested by HP and works correctly with a trusted environment. This is for HP-UX 11.0 and 11i. You can get it from software depot at:
