HP-UX 11.0 64 bit on a K460

Hi there !

I'm having trouble trying to install HP-UX 11.0 64 bit on a K460. I keep getting "can't build kernel".

I'm wondering if a K460 supports 64 bit mode 11.0.

Does anybody have a clue ?

Yes. K460 supports HP-UX 11.0, 64 bit version.

Read the install docs. I had the same problem.
You need to remove and or install a specific patch after you install the upgrade tools.
If you can't find it then re-post and I'll send you the info.

Also check the vg00 file systems, specially /stand maybe it hasn't enought space to save the old vmunix
