HP-UX 11i Install thru Secure Web Console

Hello,

I have a bit of a problem that I am at a loss at to work around.

I am attempting to reinstall HP-UX 11i on a R390 system (yes I know its old, its used as a crash/burn, training, testing system.

The problem is that once the OS install cd boots & I select the Install HP-UX option, the next screen does not allow me to select any of the aother tabs eg. Software, System, File system or Advance. the last time I installed the OS I could use the TAB key to move to the next tabs but that no longer works.

Anyone have any ideas ???

I have reset the SWC & tried vt100 emulation but to no avail.

TIA

PS-I've attached a screen shot of where I am stuck.

Hi Paul,

Does it ask for keyboard Type before this screen and if so are you entering the correct one.

Re: HP-UX 11i Install thru Secure Web Console

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses.

Yes, my tab key works on both PC's ( thought it may of had something to do with Windows XP as I had upgraded one PC to XP where it was win2K last time I installed)

No, the install does not ask for any keyboard type or setting.

Thanks
