hp-ux 11i Software Distribution via Service Control Manager

Does anyone know if the Software Distribution
product via SCM is really free ( comes with the "BASE OS" ) ? Did you have to purchase any
additional license for target(s)? Was the product easy to setup ?

Yes its installed there as part of the base 11i operating environment.

But if you look at my post in the patches forum you'll see I for one had some difficulty setting the service up.
