I understand that means HP doesnt support the OS on those platforms, but numerous other PA-RISC platforms are supported.
What does this mean? Are those machines just not Officially supported but it works (like Debian isnt supported on Proliants) or will the installer be mean to me and inform me that my machines are now paperweights?

SolutionYou need to stay with 11.11 or 11.23.

Those machines are 11.11 now and my options are to go to 11.23 (V2) and there I have a few more years of support or to go shopping for new hardware at gunpoint ?
Whats the life expectancy of 11.23 anyway? It's been out quite a few years now.

The 11.23 (11iv2) end-of-life isn't until December 2013 -- actually the same terminus for 11.11 (11iv1):
