Can you run a 64 bit OS on a HP D250 server?

the answer is no.
Only Dx70/Dx80 and above with firmware upgrade can run 64 bits HP-UX.

No, the D250 has a PA7200 processor; the lowest D-box with a PA8000 is a D270 with, of course, all EISA cards pulled. No EISA cards are 64-bit compliant.

Any Core CD will install on that box in 32 bit mode only.

Hi,

D250 does not support 64 bit OS. You can find all models which support 64 bit in the file /etc/.supported_bits on all HPUX11 servers.
Entities are not to be multiplied beyond necessity - RTFM
