hp-ux --- hard disk
hi,
system is hp c200 with ux OS.
it's not recognising the hard disk.i found the disk to be working.
i checked the cable also.
everything seems to be fine.
tried with other working disks also.
please suggest.

If you are trying to boot off a disk that was tested as a extra on anothre system, be aware that disks may not be bootable but still work as "data disks".

Hi Gajanan,
First interrupt the booting sequence within 10 sec.
At the prompt give "SEA IPL" fro searching the Boot Disk
If you find the disk, then give "bo
If it could not find the disk then either the disk is bad or the disk does not have any OS or the OS has been corrupted.
