Question on lif files

If you do a lifls you get a list of files
Can any boddy tell me what the following files are and forwhat are they used for.
PAD LABEL
MAPFILE SYSLIB CONFIGDATA SLMOD2 SLDEV2 SLDRV2 SLSCSI2 PVCU SSINFO

the LIF area is a primitive, flat file system that holds boot utilities. It has a size of 2 MBs. The critical boot utilities found in the LIF area are:
ISL Loads secondary loader
HP-UX loads Operating System
AUTO FILE contains string of secondary loader
LABEL file Contains pointers to boot file system ( That contains the kernel file vmunix)

I know what AUTO ILS HPUX ODE is for but the rest I mnetioned above I still have no clue to waht they do.
