HP UX Upgrade

Hello,

Can anyone tell me if it will be necessary to recompile my software if I apply patch 12-2004 for HP-UX 11.11

As a general rule, no, though it depends on the specific patches included in the bundle and the software you have.

Generally no, but you should keep latest patches for your software and recovery tape ready with you before applying hp-ux 11.11 patches.
