HP-UX version

I need to find out the version of the HP-UX (N4000) as well as if it is 32 or 63 bit.
What would be command to get this information?

How about uname -a

uname -a for the version
getconf KERNEL_BITS for the bitness

And please - let us know if you have a 63 bit OS - that would be fascinating.

uname -a will tell you the version number.

This in turn will tell you whether 32 or 64 bit - 11.11 or earlier is 32, 11.23 is 64.
