I was looking out for training on various HPUX topics.
I have noticed that they are being provided using "HP Virtual Classroom".
My concern was how this method of training will allow hands-on practice on the HPUX real physical server remotely ?
Thanks,
Shiv

SolutionMy understanding from an HP Eduction instructor is there are two kinds of virtual classrooms possible.
One is a merely a lecture type format where the students ask questions.
The second involved some kind of console type interface, perhaps web or lan console that lets you actually control a machine.
It depends on the course.
The reasoning behind this is the same hardware can be used more often. The old model had classrooms in various cities that may have been utilized only a percentage of the time. This model lets a set of classroom machines be used virtually every day, sometimes by several classes in several time zones.

You can also register to attend a FREE one-hour hands-on, no travel demo of RAIL at http://www.hp.com/education/rail/freedemo.html.
This is available on the 1st or 3rd Thursdays of each month.
You can also request a product demo at: http://education.hp.com/hpvr/contact_hpvr.htm
