Hp Visualize workstation B2000 no ISL prompt

Hello,

I got two HP Visualize boxes and we dont have the root passwords for neither of them.

On one I was able to interrupt the ISL during 10 sec duration it gives you and booted into single user mode and changed the password for root.

On the other box, it never gives such a duration to interrupt the ISL. I am not able to get into single user or boot from the CD as it by default boots the PRI BO and gives me no other option but to stare at the login prompt for which I dont have the password.

I also tried holding the Esc button while it is booting but it never seemed to realize it and booted to the PRI BO again

Any help on how to boot to single user in this instance, or to boot to the installation media will be of great help.

Hi,

I think the second system is secured, so it never stops at the boot menu.

To reset this, you need to disconnect the disk, then it will stop.
Reset the secure mode to "secure off".
