is there anybody who has a solution to generate mif files
to identify the HW of the 9000
series Servers?

perl has a .MIF parser:

Management Information Format
(M-I-F)
A file specification defined by the Desktop Management Task Force (DMTF) used to describe a hardware or software component of networked computers.
MIF files are used by DMI for system configuration.
Maybe any OV Product can deliver these info ?
