Re: HP9000 and MIF Files

Do you mean mib or .MIF as in Frame Maker Interchange Format (aka .MIF)??

perl has a .MIF parser:

If you want to know the hardware, use any of these:

print_manifest
model
stm

Re: HP9000 and MIF Files

Thanks for your contribution, but the thing i??m looking for is a "mif file generator", where the mif format is described like these:

Management Information Format
(M-I-F)

A file specification defined by the Desktop Management Task Force (DMTF) used to describe a hardware or software component of networked computers.

MIF files are used by DMI for system configuration.

Maybe any OV Product can deliver these info ?

Re: HP9000 and MIF Files

With a short overview of the recommended documetation i think there also must be an application which delivers the ready generated .mif files. Isn??t there any?
