HPUX-11.23 timeout

HPUX-11.23 timeout

I have a newly installed HPUX11.23, the problem is idle connections are being disconnected after 5minutes for all users including root.

There is no TMOUT env set, nothing in /etc/profile too. Not sure where else to check. Any other place to look for ??

Hi,

Check with your network administrator. They might have set this timeout value to disconnect the idle sessions.
