HPUX 11i V2 installation on RP 3410
ERROR: IO action QUERY_PROCESSOR failed: got
Hi Gurus,
I am trying to install the HPUX 11i V2 on one of my RP 3410 server.This server is currently running on HPUX 11i v1. While booting server with HPUX 11i v2 media I am getting following errors:
WARNING: Could not find Q_BOOT device. Cannot determine what the boot device
was.
WARNING: send_smapi_command: smapi_send_and_wait failed, got: CONFIG_SAVE
ERROR: Could not write disk information file
NOTE: System rebooting...
Shutdown at 12:04 (in 0 minutes)
System shutdown time has arrived
sync'ing disks (0 buffers to flush):
0 buffers not flushed
0 buffers still dirty
Closing open logical volumes...
Done

How you are trying to install the OS by ignite UX server/tape or by OS media (DVD/CD).

This problem is most likely caused by not meeting the minimum firmware requirements of HP-UX 11.23 which are higher than the current OS of the server.

I had now tried to install using other HPUX 11i V2 media. Now it is running properly.
