						whenever i try to boot my npar it crashes at the following whenever I try to bring it up past runlevel-2. 
Configure pseudo devices for MAC/LLA access ......................... OK
Start Internet services daemon ...................................... OK
Starting OpenWBEM CIMOM Daemon ...................................... FAIL
*
Starting Quest Pseudo Random Number Generator Daemon ................ OK
Starting QMX for SMS Daemon ......................................... BOOT
Reboot of system has been requested -- rebooting...
sync'ing disks (0 buffers to flush):
0 buffers not flushed
0 buffers still dirty
Any ideas?

Your best bet is to open a call with HP.

						It doesn't appear that the server is actually crashing.  It almost looks like there is some option to the software that is causing the reboot.
What I would do:
1) Bring the system up in single-user mode
2) manually mount your VG00 file systems
3) Review system logs, especially /etc/rc.log and /etc/rc.log.old
4) Review the file in /etc/rc.config.d that is appropriate for the "Starting QMX for SMS Daemon" to see if there is anything that looks wrong.
5) If possible, set this software to NOT start automatically and take the system up to run level 3.
6) Review the start script in /sbin/rc?.d, whereever it is, and try running the appropriate commands manually to see if it fails.
