HPUX idisk partition question

I am adding and re-allocating hard disks on an itanium HPUX 11.23 rx7620. It was setup originally by someone else.

I have two disks that were previously mirrored.
One, I beleive, was incorrectly partitioned with idisk, like a boot disk, with EFI, HPUX and HPSP partitions - however it is not a boot disk and does not need to be. The other disk does not have any idisk readable partitions, and only two device files, as I get the following message when running info on idisk:
"idisk: Primary partition information not valid."

Since I was going to mirror these disks, I was wanting to make them as similar as possible.

Is there a way to remove the EFI and HPSP partitions like:
idisk -wf /tmp/partitionfile /dev/rdsk/c13t2d0
with partitionfile containing only-
1
HPUX 100%
?????

Your help is always appreciated!

Re: HPUX idisk partition question

first run idisk -R

then remove the cxtydzs* device files with rmsf and use the basic device files.
