hpux installation through IP KVM

I am getting the message (as in attached file). Please let me know how to set the terminal type setting to match the firmware as I am doing a remote hpux installation throuh IP KVM switch.

Shalom,

I don't think that is supported.

Your Console does have a NIC interface and you can give it a network address hook it up and directly access the console via telnet, maybe even ssh.

Please can I know the default "HP" terminal type settings like baud rate= xxxx, data bits= x and so on.

baud rate tec. is OK, but you see the garbage as promised ... there are only a few supported KVM, but you can try to configure your GSP to vt100.

Can't tell you more because you didn't tell your server model.

but for GSP prompt again the KVM console needs to be conneced to the iLO MP PORT. isnt it. Server model is N4000.
