HPUX-NTP bundle need for 11.31.

I need to install HPUX-NTP bunlde on my hpunix box which is running. 11.31.Please help me in downloading the bundle from any site or from DVD's.

I have the following September 2008 11i v3 DVDs –

I'm just curious here, but the vanilla HP-UX comes bundled with xntpd which can act as either an NTP client or NTP server. I don't know on what exact verstion from ntp.org it is based from, but it does the job. I might be mistaken, but I never saw a HPUX-NTP bundle.

i dont know what type of OE did you installed,

but i have always a NTP in default installation.

But NTP is not installed i check with swlist.
Here i need that software NTP bundle to install.

HPUX-NTP is a part of CoreOS, so it should be on your Base Operating Environment DVDs, i.e. on either 5013-8372 or 5013-8373.

The only way for it to be not installed is that someone has specifically removed it or chosen not to install it when installing the 11.31 OS.

Type ntpq what is the output you are getting.

$ whereis ntpq
ntpq: /usr/sbin/ntpq /usr/share/man/man1m.Z/ntpq.1m

$ /usr/sbin/ntpq
ntpq>

Are youu getting this above prompt if yes that means no need to install ntp

The packaging of various components has changed in 11.31. You need to install the 'HPUX-NTP' bundle of Internet Services. See pages 18-19 here:
