Hi,
I want know, where to get all the critical patches that are required after installing HPUX 11i. Is there a website that lists all the critical patches periodically from where I can download and Install. Is there a name for this critical patches? Do I need to pay to download these patches?
Thanks for the help.

Re: HPUX Patches
I think you need a software contract for access to patches, but for some reason am not sure.
Patches are available at
http://itrc.hp.com
Individual Patches
HP-UX
then enter some search critera.
Quality Packs(11.00) and Gold Packs(11.11) are now available at http://software.hp.com
They include many patches, only those that have been widely tested.

Re: HPUX Patches
Your best bet would be to download and install the latest Quality pack bundle.
You can get it here:
http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProductInfo.pl?productNumber=QUALITYPACK
It is FREE, but be aware that it can be a 400-500 MB download. Hopefully you've got a fast connection.

Solution
Hi Srinivas,
if you have a support contract with HP then link the support agreement to ur ITRC login.
Once you link the support agreement, you can access customer patch manager by following the link
Maint. & supp. for HP prod ==> Custom Patch Manager.
You can download a script from there that could be run in the system. This will create a file which should be uploaded to the ITRC website. Once uploaded the custom patch manager will analyze the patches installed and will give you the recommended and latest patches. which you can download and install in your system
Sundar.
