HPUX11.23 on rp2470

I have a rx2600 with HPUX 11.23 and a rp
2470 with NO OS. I have two questions.
1.does rp2470 can install hpux 11.23?
2.cause rp2470 whitout DVD-rom, so I want to make_tape_recovery from rx2600, and use that tape to install OS to rp2470,dose that work?

1) this should work. Check the quickspecs if all HBAs are supported with 11.23 (HVD SCSI is not, for example).

2) this cannot work, you cannot use an ia64 image on a RISC system

Consider to use ignite, copy the installation CD's to a depot and use network install
