I'am new at HP-UX and want to learn more about scripting. Does anybody know a site where I can find some examples of scripts to peek and to learn from it?

A couple great places....first any book on scripting will have examples. O'Reilly is pretty popular.
Another great place is to keep watching this forum and any other you get in....one thing about UNIX folks...they love to share scripts they have written. I've found a wealth of them here and at other sites....

You can search the net, whatever search engine you are using search for UNIX shell script . There are loads of tutorials you can go through at you own time .

The other thing to do is start off by writing a simple menu , with user input .

There is a good course at HP on shell scripting that is well worth doing. Also try looking at perl it is much better if you really get to know how to use it.
