I know that its hardware problem but I have no access to site and I recommendet to call local HP

vmunix: SCSI: Reset detected -- lbolt: 230046881, bus: 1
vmunix: SCSI: Resetting SCSI -- lbolt: 230050781, bus: 1

It occures in syslog.log Is it SCSI harware connection problem?
Does it mean that there might be some data storage on disk failures?

Hello,

SCSI reset... those could mean many things. They could or could not mean a hardware problem.

Check the cables... bent pins. VHDCI cables are very delicate in this respect.

Check terminators... for bent pins.

Check the timeout settings for your physical volume.

You didn't tell us what disk array or disk drives you have.

Well it could be anything . It could be a controller problem , disk problem or even cable or terminator problem .

It could also be a time out problem on the disk subsystem. Since you are in a remote location , first try to change the timeout of the disks attached on bus 1 from default to 180 secs . Use pvcgange -t 180 /dev/dsk/cxtydz . IT can be done online .

After changing the time outs wait and see if the error occurs again . if yes then call HP .
