Re: ignite client problem after changing ignite server's IP

Shalom,

The NFS clients are getting DNS resolution information that differs from the new IP address of the Ignite server.

Check the DNS database and any entries in /etc/hosts on the systems and make them consistent with the new IP of the Ignite server.

Re: ignite client problem after changing ignite server's IP

Try doing an nslookup.

If you see trying DNS, then it is using DNS. You might want to change your /etc/nsswitch.conf to look at your hosts file first then DNS if dns isn't resolving properly.

Re: ignite client problem after changing ignite server's IP

hi;
i had to shutdown server.After restarting problem solved.
But before shutdown;
i edit the /etc/rc.config.d/nfsconf for stoping the nfs client and nfs server.
