Ignite from Ultrium 230e tape

is it possible to do ignite tapes to a Ultrium 230 tape or do I have to go to a DDS

found no problem with Ultrium 230
don't knwo the rest of your config but, if you want to be absolutely sure, you might try a test boot and then cancel installation just to verify bootability

I've been doing it for 15 months on Ultrium 230 drives.

I've made and used Ignite backup tapes and booted the machines off the drive and recovered.

The drives are great and the recovery is much faster than DDS.
