						Hi Gurus,
What steps to be taken to restore (O/s HP-UX 11.11, PA - RISC)? considering the servers are identical and are in different locations A & B. The Ignite-UX server is in another location C. I have the ignite net backup copies at the ignite server in location C.
Could any one please narrate the steps for restoring under this scenario?
Many thanks in Advance
Regards
Sundar

We cannot narrate the exact steps without knowing how the network between the locations is arranged.
The main question is, are these servers in the same IP network segment, although they are in different physical locations?
If all the servers are in the same network segment and the Ignite-UX server has all the necessary services enabled (see Ignite-UX installation documents), it's just a matter of entering the correct network boot command to the PDC boot prompt.
If the servers A and/or B are not in the same network segment as C, you will have to set up an "Ignite-UX boot helper" system in the same network segment as the server A/B. This system will relay the network parameters from the Ignite server C to the A/B. It may also supply some early boot files. After A/B has booted far enough that its network routing code starts working, it will then connect directly to C.
See Ignite-UX documentation for details.

						MK,
thanks, and A &B are in same network where as the ignite server C is in different network, is there any link for setting up the Ignite-UX Boot helper?
can i use any server, (which is in A&B network, and running with same Ignite-UX client version) as Ignite-UX Boot helper?
Thank you
Sundar
