Ignite-ux: Cannot download

Hello,

I've been trying to download Ignite for HPUX 10.20 from www.software.hpux.com.

When I click on the 'download now' button I get a screen saying 'Thank you for using Software Depot' and that's all (no downloads).

Anybody else having the same problem?

for me it's working. Try entering ftp.software.hp.com. Else I'll attach it here for you.

I just tried and had no problems.

You should get a popup file window that asks you where to save the file.

More details needed.

Alex, the URL you passed me doesn't work either. Same results. I was expecting the 'popup' as John said, but nothing.

The only unusual thing here is that I'm using mozilla 0.9.6 with Java and Javascript enabled. I don't use Microsoft so I cannot test with explorer.

Could it be mozilla? But if it is so, that's the first time I find such a problem...

Hmm, it looks like I'm being able to download it with Konqueror. Strangely though, the file is coming with a weird name. Does anybody have the HTTP headers that are sent when we click on the Download button?

So filename is ignite_10.20.tar

What I am trying to see now is the HTTP headers that get sent when we press the button. That's what triggers the download process.

Did the trick...

Questions remain:

1) What is being sent by the perl script? I'd really like to know to fix any problems I might have here...

2) Why not just put a link pointing to the file? It's soooo much nicer...
