Hi,
Please can anyone tell me that if I decide to make one of my servers as an Ignite server to take ignite backups of all servers thru network to enable recovery of those servers thru net from this server, do I require to purchase the Ignite-UX software ? or it comes bundled/free with HP-UX 11.23 Enterprise Operating environment ? Are any licenses required for this purpose ?
Thanks,
Ninad

Re: Ignite UX server software and licensing
Hi,
the document linked above says:
"http://www.docs.hp.com/en/IUX/ :
To download the C.6.9.150 release,
free to HP customers,
=====================
see the Download Ignite-UX page.
Use it - it's free!
(Of course you need HP-UX licenses for all of your systems installed with ignite - but I know you know this ;-))
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
