Ignite-UX

Hi:
I'm usign a server rp5470 with Ignite-UX B.3.7.95 and when I used with:
make_tape_recovery -IA
and received the next error:
*Create The Tape Archive:
lifcp: Cannot create SYSCMDS; no space on the LIF Volume
make_medialif: error - lifcp SYSCMDS, probable insufficient size for /var/tmp/uxinstlf.recovery
ERROR: System Error, opt/ignite/bin/make_medialif failed creating boot LIF file.

i don't know why??

Hi!

You need to install PHSS_27407 (11.00) or PHSS_27406 (11.11) to fix this.

Hi,

Along with the patches as indicated above, keep a look on the size of /var while the make_tape_recovery tape. It dumps bootlif into /var/tmp prior to dd'ing it to the tape.
