In Itanium server, how can I access the host cdrom from guest server?

I plan to upgrade my OS from 11.23 to 11.31 in a guest server. What is the way to access the cdrom of the host server?

Currently, both the host and guest have hp-ux 11.23 installed.

I'm guessing your guest server doesn't have a cdrom. You could mount the cdrom on the host server. Export /cdrom as a read only file system on your host, do a man on exports and exportfs. Then do a NFS mount from your guest server to the exported /cdrom.

On the guest server;
mount host_srvr:/cdrom /cdrom
