Hi everyone,
I have received a new rp7420 HP-UX 11vi pre-installed from HP and i noticed that during boot i receive the following message:
HF: Bits 1,2 of BAR not 01 !
init of hardware not successful. id=14c18043 and my_isc=c0
Plus i noticed that the ioscan -fn produced an UNCLAIMED device (clic 1/0/12/1/0 clicd PCI Network (14c18043)
Anyone has any idea why this error and how to fix it?

Re: Init hardware not successful
Shalom,
It's a new system with a hardware problem. Talk to whom you purchased it from, or HP support if its been added to a hardware support contract.

Re: Init hardware not successful
Dear
It seems that it is missing the driver.
Please check which hw is not having the driver installed.
Normally I have seen the tape drives does not automatically get the entry in the kernal.
Please check the documentation of the hardware attached. Hope you will get the answer.
