Installation of HP-UX get stuck on Integrity

Hi,

I have a new Integrity rx2660 Server and I am installing HP-UX 11iv3. I boot from DVD and everything looks good first. But a little later the boot stucks. Here is the screen:

Loading section 0 ...... (complete)
Loading section 1 ...... (complete)

Here the installation get stuck for a few minutes and the server reboots itself.

Any ideas I can do to locate the error

I'm pretty sure you did not adjust the console setting!

did you check the firmware version?

most of the cases it's related to firmware.

did you also check the efi shell prompt to boot?

Sorry, I didn't read about the reboot. Anyway checking the console may help too - but is there something in the system event logs (go to the MP)?

If there's nothing in the console logs, try "boot :IINSTALL -v" and post the output (assuming it doesn't redirect somehow, of course).

Switching console to VGA was the solution
