Installaton of Jboss on HP UX

Hi. i am trying to install Jboss on HP UX 11.31 running oracle 10gr2. can any one help me getting corrent tested version of jboss. the file i have downloaded is a zip file. i able to unzip the file but getting lost as to what next

well that largely depends on *where* you got your Jboss installation from doesn't it?

Unless you need a specific version, pre-integrated with other products, then I'd just pick up the version available on the HP-UX Internet Express collection here:

That is in HP-UX depot format and can be installed using swinstall.

Thanks i am looking at jboss-4.2.3.GA version for HP UX 11.31 to be installed.

And you're getting these errors in response to what command? Can you give us the exact command line you entered?

after registering the depot file
i used below command.

swinstall -s /home/apps/ixJboss_A.12.00-4.2.3.001_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA_PA.depot Jboss

This probably means the depot has been corrupted or truncated.
If using ftp, make sure you used binary mode to transfer. Try verifying the checksum. Or use swverify:
# swverify -s \
/home/apps/ixJboss_A.12.00-4.2.3.001_HP-UX_B.11.31_IA_PA.depot "*"
