installing 10.20 on C3X HP Visualize

Hi all:

Trying to install 10.20 onto a Visualize machine. Not liking it very well.

While attempting to boot off of CDROM I get the following error: System Panic
panic: (display==0xb800 flags==0x0) set_machine_parameters: Unidentified cputL

(yada yada yada)

The box does not appear to have a graphics port to plug in a graphics console so I am using an HP 70096 monitor in serial 1. I am getting output from monitor.

Any help?

What does the model string say for this machine?

What 10.20 cd are you using? (part number please)

Having a hell of a brain-fart day.

Thanks Cheryl - you opened my eyes so I could see that I was using a S800 install CD on a S700 series system. Case closed.
