Installing CPU's in RP5470

I'm going to be installing a Processor support module, plus two more 875 MHZ cpu's into our RP5470 server. The server currently has two 875 MHZ cpu's, is running HPUX 11.11, and our firmware is up to date. The documentation states: "ensure HP-UX 11.i IPR0206 or later is installed". What is this? Thanks.

Do you not have HP support contract on this system?

If you do, let HP do it. You are paying for it via the support contract. Something goes wrong then you are SOL.

Hi,

I think IPRO206 is a strange name for HW enablement patch bundle, check this link:

Enjoy :)

HP-UX 11.i IPR0206 is the release version of HP-UX 11i ( PA-RISC and Itanium ). The 0206 part says the version was released on June 2002.
In your case you have just ensure that you have HP-UX 11.11 released version 0206 or later.

Thanks. That makes sense.
