Installing jre1.5 on HPUX 11.11

Hello All,

I need to install jre1.5 on HPUX 11.11. Do anyone can provide me the link from where i can get the jre1.5 and the installation instructions.

Everything related to Java on HP-UX can be found here:

First, look into the "Patches" section and ensure you have all the required patches installed.

Then download the depot that is meant for your OS version and use swinstall to install it, just like any other HP-UX software component provided by HP. The download page will have a link to more detailed instructions.
