Hi Tim:

A reboot is required to install MirrorDisk/UX software since kernel filesets are installed.

Hi Tim:

Addition : Befor doing any application/patch/software installation, read the README.txt file which comes along with the depot. This will tell you, whether you need to reboot the system or not.

Normally any filesets affecting Kernel requires a reboot.
