This is regarding the /etc/ioconfig file.
1.if the file got corrupted or deleted whether the system will boot..?
2. how we can recover the file ..( is it possible to recover booting in single user mode and running ioint..)
3. if file got deleted whether the ioinit will recreate the file

actually, /stand/ioconfig is what u should be concern. if there r problem, follow the steps in the doc:
