where the ipaddress is located in hpux. means at which path.

the absolute path of the file is

/etc/rc.config.d/netconf

However IP address can be checked via ifconfig

But the changes made by ifconfig command will not sustain a reboot so for changes to be permanent we have to edit netconf file.
Time has a wonderful way of weeding out the trivial

Hi,

Added to above lanscan, SAM are some options to have a look at your network entities.

The command:

netstat -in

is by far the simplest and easiest to read.
