How to configure IPV6 in HP-UX11iV3 when the network & router are all IPV4.

I don't understand the sense in doing this, if the server is the only device using this protocol ... please elaborate.

If yhou have a remote IPv6 system to which you want IPv6 connectivity, you will need to setup a tunnel over IPv4. Might try man -k tun and or man tun and perhaps a perusal of the 11.31 (11i v3) manuals at docs.hp.com for how to setup an IPv6 over IPv4 tunnel - I am assuming that HP-UX 11iv3 knows how to do such a thing.

I wanted to Install IPV6 on stand alone server to test our application. Like I wanted to Install this IPv6 in 2 HP boxes which are in the same subnet.
