Is there a way to delete a message on the forums

Is there a way to delete a message from the forums and resubmit it is you are the originator of the message?

No there is not.
A deletion can only be done by the Forum Administrator, or one of the number of HP Experts who monitor/respond in the forums.
if there is a specific thread you wish to be deleted, you can post the request in the relevant Month's Forum Issues Thread that Dan starts fresh every month.

Hi Nancy,

No, we can't. However, we can send an email to itrc_forums@hp.com telling them what we need. Then I guess it's up to Dan and the gang.
