issues running x11

to start when I run swverify on X11 software config i get a couple of errors:

ERROR: + Verify failed OS-Core.CMDS-AUX,l=/,r=B.11.00
ERROR: + Verify failed OS-Core.SYS-ADMIN,l=/,r=B.11.00

Will these effect the services running?

how and what daemons are required to run?

I export my display and when I attemp to run xhost + I get:

xhost: unable to open display.

can someone please help?

is an xserver running?

and errors in sw installs is not a good thing. You should try to rectify those issues.

how do I check the daemons and where do I start to sort out the errors with the software.

I have run an swconfig with no avail!!
