itemap???

Someone send me a e-mail suggesting that itemap might be an answer. The description of itemap and the associated keymap_ed sounds interesting. Does anyone know much about these and is it worth looking at?

Mike Stroyan does ... he's internal HP and knows his onions when it comes to this subject. I followed your post from yesterday since xmodmap was not the way forward, but was unsure which way was. I'd suggest you give his suggestions a try but as Mike suggested this might not be easy.
