itool command

Does anybody know about arguments of /opt/ignite/bin/itool command.

itool : usage :
-d
-i
-m 'demo', 'push', 'pull', 'quick', or 'wiz'
-w show welcome screen in push mode (default is -m pull)

What is push mode ? What do -d and -i stand for ?

Thanks for any kelp.

Re: itool command

itool is not intended to be called directly by the user, thus no man page. The command line options are there for debugging purposes only. No enhancements or customer support for the command line will be provided.

* -d (e.g. /var/tmp )
*
* This is the directory path that we expect to find
* hw.info
* host.info
* server_instr
* install.log
*
* -i
*
* -m
*
* This option determines the mode that the install_tool
* will be functioning in. "push" mode is equivalent to
* the install_tool being invoked by the install_manager
* "pull" mode is represented by a client booting with
* the install_tool (a.k.a. cold_install).
*
* If push mode is specified, an additional welcome
* screen will be presented prior to the main install_tool
* task dialog. If pull mode is specified, it is assumed
* that the install process has already presented a curses
* based version of the welcome screen.
*
* If wiz mode is set, itool will come up in task wizard
* mode. This mode provides limited access to the config
* object.
*
* If quick mode is set, itool will parse the currently
* selected configuration file, run sanity_checks and then
* write the resulting config file at the same detail level
* back out to the client directory. If errors are
* encountered, a messages dialog is presented to the
* user.
*
* If no "-m" option is specified, the install_tool will
* default to "pull" mode.
