Restaure the Tape of make_recovery on R380
I have on make_recovery tape of HP machine K370 ans I want to test the restaure on HP R380.
I have doing the restaure but The system can not boot on the R380.
Can you pleas give me an idea for scceseful this test

For boot test only with boot.
For test of data:
#mt -t fsr 1
#tar tv|more

OK, since you don't want to boot, I'd verify the tape this way:
# mt -t /dev/rmt/0mn fsf 1
# tar -xvf /dev/rmt/0m filename > /tmp/tardata
The first command skips over the LIF written to the tape. Note the no-rewind device. The 'tar' will enable you to verify the files that were loaded to the tape.
