Problem found: A bug in SQLite. I will report to the authors.

"select id, ptsitrc from member where ptsitrc > 18000 order by ptsitrc desc"

did not return any value over 99999.
I now removed the where clause and did the logic inside the loop. A bit slower, but at least I now am complete again.

JRF, I noticed that too.

This is just to inform the readers. No points please Pete, and please do not make this into a discussion about databases or SQLite in particular. I'm already satisfied to know where the anomalies came from.

There seem to be some very weird bugs in SQLite. The problem is that it is very hard to have other people to look at this, as the database is now over 1.3 Gb, which is not something easily fetched over HTTP from our slow network. The main member table has 64494 records, and the archive has 6380191 records.

At this very moment, I don't have a real idea on where this will fail or why. I'm creating a database dump and will convert it to Postgres just to see if it will be reliable *and* if it does perform. SQLite is extremely fast, and that is also because it is a local database. If I am to use a real database like Postgres (or Oracle or MySQL or Unify), those will have to reside on a network box, which will drop performance quite a bit.

Trying your command suggestion. Looks like a Linux update messed this up. Will also yum -y update wget.

noindex code was introduced to deal with google trying to index the site every night and burning all my bandwidth.

New suggestion seems to work. Finally the site is updating. Ran it in verbose mode and site does update.

The site is still and will remain password protected to keep Google and Baidu out.

Baidu has been getting very annoying lately with their attempts to copy the entire Internet to internal systems.
