Java 1.3 and SAP JCO

I'd like to run our Java 1.3 application is based on SAP JCO.
I'm not sure it's works because the SAP JCO is commended with 32 bit version (use 32 bit libraries *.sl )and Java 1.3 for hp-ux is a 64 application and it's possible that we have problems with Java Nativ Interface.
Have anybody experience with this constellation.
